Purchase Engineer

Roles & Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end procurement activities, including purchase requisitions, vendor selection, purchase order processing, and contract management.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure the timely procurement and delivery of materials and services in line with business requirements.
• Develop, maintain, and strengthen relationships with vendors while negotiating competitive pricing, commercial terms, and delivery schedules.
• Conduct market research to identify new suppliers, evaluate vendor capabilities, and recommend cost-effective procurement solutions.
• Ensure compliance with company procurement policies, contractual obligations, statutory regulations, and industry standards.
• Take complete ownership of assigned procurement activities, ensuring timely execution with minimal supervision and a proactive approach to issue resolution.
• Work independently while effectively managing multiple procurement requirements, priorities, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrate the ability to perform efficiently under pressure, adapt to changing business needs, and deliver results within tight timelines.
• Monitor supplier performance, resolve procurement-related issues promptly, and drive continuous improvement in procurement processes and cost optimization.
• Maintain accurate procurement records, documentation, and reports to support audit and business requirements.
