Purchase Engineer

Role & responsibilities

• Floating inquiries, conducting techno-commercial negotiations, PO placement, and timely follow-up with vendors.
• Reading and understanding engineering drawings with knowledge of machining and bought-out components.
• Handling procurement of machining, fabrication, raw materials, fittings, and other engineering components.
• Working efficiently on ERP systems for procurement-related activities.
• Using MS Office proficiently for documentation, reporting, and procurement records.

Preferred candidate profile

• Experience in floating inquiries, techno-commercial negotiations, PO placement, and vendor follow-up.
• Good knowledge of machining processes and engineering components.
• Working knowledge of ERP systems.
• Candidates with a machining industry background will be preferred.
