Purchase Engineer / Assistant Manager

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced professional to handle Indirect Purchase with exposure to Automation & TPM, ensuring timely procurement of MRO, automation components, spares, and maintenance-related services.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end Indirect Purchase and P2P (Procure-to-Pay) activities.
• Handle procurement of MRO items, automation components, electrical/electronic spares, tools, consumables, and maintenance services.
• Develop and manage vendors; obtain quotations and negotiate price, delivery, and commercial terms.
• Coordinate with Automation, Maintenance, Production, Stores, Finance, and Engineering teams.
• Ensure timely availability of critical spares to minimize equipment downtime.
• Support TPM activities through effective procurement planning.
• Manage AMC, repair, maintenance, and technical service procurement.
• Maintain procurement records, MIS, and vendor performance.
• Strong working knowledge of SAP S/4HANA is required.
