Role Description:

The Purchase Assistant will support the purchasing and procurement activities to ensure timely availability of materials and services required for operations and projects. This full-time, on-site role is based in Rajkot and involves preparing and processing purchase orders, coordinating with vendors, and maintaining accurate purchasing records. The role includes tracking deliveries, monitoring inventory levels, and assisting in vendor evaluation and negotiations in line with company policies. The Purchase Assistant will collaborate closely with warehouse, accounts, and project teams to resolve discrepancies and support cost-effective purchasing decisions.

Qualifications:

• The Candidates should possess strong skills in Purchasing Processes and Purchasing, including understanding of sourcing, cost comparison, and vendor management.
• Ideal person should possess skills in handling Purchase Orders and related documentation, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely processing.
• Candidate should possess effective Communication skills to interact with suppliers, internal teams, and stakeholders in a clear and professional manner.
• They should possess core Procurement skills, including basic knowledge of contracts, terms, and negotiation principles.
• Relevant qualifications such as a BE, diploma or degree in Supply Chain, Commerce, Business Administration, or a related field are beneficial.
• Attention to detail, basic MS Office proficiency, and familiarity with ERP or inventory management systems are advantageous.
• Prior experience in an industrial, electrical, or manufacturing environment is preferred but not mandatory.
