Public Relations Account Manager

Role Description The Public Relations Account Manager is a full-time, hybrid role based in Mumbai, with flexibility for partial work from home. This role involves managing client accounts day-to-day, developing and executing PR strategies, and ensuring timely delivery of communication plans. The Account Manager will draft and review press releases, media notes, pitches, and other content, and coordinate media outreach to secure coverage aligned with client objectives. Responsibilities also include handling reputation management activities, supporting crisis communication efforts, monitoring media and social channels, and preparing reports and insights for clients. The role requires close collaboration with internal teams and external partners, including influencers and digital agencies, to maintain consistent brand messaging.
Qualifications

• A candidate should possess strong Public Relations and Media Relations skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with journalists, editors, and influencers.
• A candidate should possess experience in Account Management, including managing multiple clients, coordinating deliverables, and maintaining high service standards.
• A candidate should possess excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to craft clear, compelling brand narratives.
• A candidate should possess proficiency in drafting Press Releases and other PR materials such as media pitches, briefing documents, and talking points.
• Relevant experience in sectors such as BFSI, wealth management, personal finance, tech, startups, or hospitality is beneficial.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Ability to collaborate effectively in hybrid teams and demonstrate professionalism when representing clients externally.
• Preferred qualifications include a bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
