Public Affairs and communication Manager

Government Engagement & Policy Interface

Manage ongoing engagement with central and state government stakeholders to support business operations, facilitate approvals and maintain constructive institutional relationships.

Incentive Tracking & Enablement

Monitor relevant policy developments and incentive schemes (both central and state-level programs), supporting internal teams in evaluating and participating where aligned with business priorities.

Corporate Communications (Internal & External)

Execute communication strategies across internal platforms and external channels, ensuring clarity, consistency and alignment with global messaging frameworks. Brand Visibility & Platform Management Plan and deliver events, leadership engagements and participation in industry forums to enhance company visibility in India.

Industry & Association Engagement

Coordinate with industry bodies to stay connected with sector developments and contribute to broader ecosystem discussions where relevant.

Stakeholder Management Maintain structured engagement with external stakeholders (excluding customers), ensuring continuity and responsiveness.

Business Environment Scanning

Track regulatory, policy and industry developments and share relevant insights with internal stakeholders.

Crisis Communication Support

Support preparation and execution of communication during sensitive situations, in alignment with global protocols.

Administrative & Compliance Coordination

Manage documentation and coordination required for government-related processes and interfaces.

Additional Responsibilities

• Ecosystem analysis for business intelligence and stakeholder management
• Support CSR-related communication
• Manage external vendors for events, media and communication deliverables
• Develop content such as internal notes, speeches, press materials and leadership communication

Education and Experience Requirements

Type of desired education required or an equivalent in years of experience, and length of relevant working experience required for the position:

• More than 10 years of relevant experience across public affairs, policy, communications, government relations, media or related domains
• Experience working in cross-functional and cross-cultural environments
• Master's degree in Business Administration, Public Policy, Economics, Communications or related field Length of management experience required for the position:
• More than 10 years experience in cross cultural setting(Preferably Manufacturing MNC)
