Role & responsibilities - Bengaluru E City PU College Principal

Academics

• Own board exam results (II PU) and competitive exam outcomes (JEE/NEET/CET) as core KPIs
• Design and monitor academic calendar, timetables, test schedules
• Review student performance data regularly; drive remedial action for weak performers
• Ensure curriculum delivery quality across Science/Commerce streams

Faculty Management

• Recruit, onboard, and mentor teaching staff
• Conduct classroom observations and performance reviews
• Drive faculty development/training initiatives
• Manage staff scheduling and workload distribution

Student Affairs

• Oversee admissions counselling and enrollment targets
• Manage discipline, attendance, and student welfare
• Parent communication and grievance resolution
• Oversee co-curricular and sports activities

Administration

• Manage campus operations, budget, and resource allocation
• Ensure compliance with board/regulatory requirements (state PU board norms)
• Coordinate with central RVLH leadership on strategy rollout
• Own campus-level reporting and dashboards

Stakeholder Management

• Represent the college to parents, trust management, and external bodies
• Build campus reputation and community relationships

Qualifications

• Postgraduate degree (subject relevant to Science/Commerce stream); B.Ed. preferred
• 8 to 10+ years in education, with 3+ years in academic leadership / administration
• Prior experience managing PU/senior secondary programs preferred
