Roles & Responsibilities:

• Planning & execution of the required quantities of parent seed.
• Delivery of high quality parent seeds for commercial seed production on time.
• Planning the quantities on PAN India basis for different crops in different geographies.
• Timely reviewing the seed arrivals & make alternative plans in case of shortfalls to meet required volumes on time.
• Motivate & train the team members for knowledge imparting and innovations on regular basis.
• Should know budgeting for the region and control over the prepared budget. Coordinating with other departments such as R&D, Quality, Processing, CSP, Finance & HR time to time for the better realization of goals & targets.
• Reviewing budget time to time for effective utilization of resources.
• Ensuring timely updates to head of department on the progress of crops & other projects under taken.
• Ensuring the security of parent seeds at all the stages of operation.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Post-Graduation in Agriculture/ Horticulture
• 12-15 Years of relevant experience in Vegetable Parent Seed Production or related fields for PAN Indian production locations
