In this context, we are looking for a qualified, enthusiastic, and dedicated PRT Gujarati for Vedritam Vidyalaya Dholera, Gujarat (CBSE Board) . The ideal candidate should have strong subject knowledge, good communication skills, effective teaching abilities, and a passion for nurturing students' learning and overall development.
Job Summary
The Primary Teacher Gujarati will be responsible for developing students' reading, writing, speaking, and comprehension skills in Gujarati while promoting language proficiency, cultural awareness, and an appreciation of regional literature.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver Gujarati lessons in accordance with the prescribed curriculum.
- Develop students' Gujarati reading, writing, grammar, vocabulary, and comprehension skills.
- Improve pronunciation, spoken fluency, and written expression.
- Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, assignments, and teaching-learning materials.
- Introduce age-appropriate stories, poems, and literary activities.
- Encourage students to appreciate Gujarati language, culture, and traditions.
- Assess student performance and maintain academic records.
- Provide additional support to students who need help with language learning.
- Communicate with parents regarding academic progress.
- Participate in school events, staff meetings, and professional development programmes.
Experience Skills
- Relevant primary teaching experience is preferred.
- Experience in a CBSE-affiliated school will be an added advantage.
- Good English communication skills for professional coordination.
- Strong classroom management and lesson-planning abilities.
- Ability to use interactive and child-centred language teaching methods.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with digital teaching tools.
Educational qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Gujarati or a relevant discipline with Gujarati as a subject, as applicable.
- B.Ed. or an equivalent recognized teaching qualification, as applicable.
- Strong command of spoken and written Gujarati.
Salary shall commensurate with experience
