The Vedritam Group (formerly DAV Group) - Chennai was established in 1970 at Gopalapuram, Chennai, with just 50 students. In this context, we are looking for a qualified, enthusiastic, and dedicated PRT - English for Vedritam Vidyalaya Dholera, Gujarat (CBSE Board) . The ideal candidate should have strong subject knowledge, good communication skills, effective teaching abilities, and a passion for nurturing students' learning and overall development.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging English lessons in accordance with the CBSE curriculum.
- Develop students' reading, writing, grammar, vocabulary, and comprehension skills.
- Improve students' spoken English, pronunciation, and communication abilities.
- Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, assignments, and teaching-learning materials.
- Use interactive, activity-based, and child-centred teaching methods.
- Maintain classroom discipline and encourage active student participation.
- Participate in school activities, staff meetings, and professional development programmes.
Experience Skills
- Relevant primary teaching experience is preferred.
- Experience in a CBSE-affiliated school will be an added advantage.
- Excellent English communication and classroom management skills.
- Good lesson-planning, assessment, and student engagement abilities.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with digital teaching tools.
Educational qualification
- Bachelor's degree in English or a relevant discipline.
- B.Ed. or an equivalent recognized teaching qualification, as applicable.
- Strong command of written and spoken English.
Salary shall commensurate with experience
