Position: Network Engineer Proxy L3
Location: As per project requirement
Experience: 5+Years
Employment Type: Full Time

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Manage and support enterprise Proxy infrastructure and Internet Gateway environment.
• Configure, troubleshoot, and maintain Proxy solutions such as Blue Coat, Symantec ProxySG, Zscaler, Squid Proxy, or equivalent.
• Monitor Proxy performance, logs, and security alerts.
• Handle incident management, problem management, and root cause analysis for Proxy-related issues.
• Implement URL filtering, web access policies, authentication, and content filtering policies.
• Coordinate with OEM/vendor teams for issue resolution and upgrades.
• Perform Proxy policy creation and change management activities.
• Support SSL inspection, certificate management, and user authentication integration.
• Work on firewall and network security integration with Proxy solutions.
• Ensure compliance with security standards and organizational policies.
• Prepare technical documentation, SOPs, and RCA reports.
• Provide support during planned activities and critical outages.

Technical Skills Required:

• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS protocols.
• Hands-on experience on Proxy technologies:
• Blue Coat ProxySG
• Zscaler
• Squid Proxy
• Symantec Proxy
• Knowledge of Firewall technologies such as Palo Alto, Fortinet, Checkpoint, Cisco ASA.
• Experience in troubleshooting network and security issues.
• Understanding of SSL Decryption, VPN, NAC, and Web Security concepts.
• Experience with SIEM/log monitoring tools.
• Good understanding of routing and switching concepts.

L3 Engineer Additional Responsibilities:

• Handle complex troubleshooting and critical escalations.
• Perform design review and implementation activities.
• Lead major incident resolution and RCA preparation.
• Coordinate with OEMs for advanced troubleshooting.
• Provide technical guidance to L1/L2 engineers.
• Certification: Any of the Certifications mentioned below (or equivalent)

Zscaler Digital Transformation Administrator (ZDTA), Zero Trust Cyber Associate (ZTCA), Blue Coat Certified Proxy Administrator (BCCPA) and the Blue Coat Certified Proxy professional (BCCPP), Broadcom/Symantec Secure Web Gateway Certification
