    Key Responsibilities

    SMT & PCB Assembly Solder Paste Printing (SPP) Solder Paste Inspection (SPI) Pick & Place Programming Flying Probe Testing
  1. Manual Soldering (SMT & Through-Hole)
    2. Microscope Inspection (Keyence)
  2. Develop prototype assembly processes for new products.
  3. Prepare work instructions and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  4. Optimize assembly yield and reduce prototype turnaround time.
  5. Introduce continuous improvement initiatives within the prototype lab
  6. Operate and maintain SMT production equipment.
  7. Coordinate preventive maintenance and calibration
  8. Support installation and qualification of new prototype equipment
    9. Troubleshoot machine-related issues.
  9. Ensure compliance with automotive quality standards.
    10. Perform first article inspections
  10. Review AOI and Flying Probe test reports
  11. Support failure analysis and root cause investigations.
  12. Maintain prototype traceability and documentation.
    13. Cross-Functional Coordination
    • Work closely with : Hardware Design Engineers, PCB Layout Engineers, Validation Engineers, Manufacturing Engineering, Purchasing Suppliers & Support design verification (DV), product validation (PV), and engineering change activities.
    Maintain prototype build records. Prepare prototype build reports.
  13. Generate assembly instructions and process documentation.
    14. Maintain equipment utilization records

    Required Technical Skills

  14. Strong knowledge of SMT process flow
    15. PCB assembly process.
  15. IPC-A-610 workmanship standards.
  16. IPC J-STD-001 soldering standards.
    17. Automotive electronics manufacturing. Prototype build management. Pick & Place programming
  17. Reflow profile optimization
    18. Flying Probe testing Manual soldering and rework
  18. BGA, QFN, QFP, and fine-pitch component handling
    19. Conformal coating process
  19. ESD handling requirements
    20. Process validation and qualification
  20. Reading PCB Gerber files, BOM, and assembly drawings.
  21. Familiarity with automotive communication protocols such as CAN, LIN, or Ethernet
    22. Preferred Tools & Equipment SMT Pick & Place Machines Flying Probe Tester PCB Depaneling Machine Keyence Digital Microscope Soldering & Rework Stations X-Ray Inspection (preferred) YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
    • Education: Bachelors Degree or Diploma in Electronics Engineering, Electronics & Telecommunication, Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, Mechatronic
    • Experience: Overall 8+ years years of experience in automotive electronics prototype manufacturing.
    • The candidate will be responsible for end-to-end prototype PCB assembly, process optimization, equipment operation, quality assurance, and coordination with design, validation, and manufacturing teams to deliver high-quality engineering samples within project timelines.
    • Preferred Certifications : IPC-A-610 Certified IPC Specialist (CIS) & IPC J-STD-001 Certification
