Job Overview

We are urgently hiring an experienced Proposal Writer with a strong background in the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) industry to support our US operations. The ideal candidate should have proven experience preparing professional proposals, reviewing RFPs, and developing technical and business documents for architectural, engineering, or construction projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and analyze RFPs, RFQs, bid documents, and client requirements to identify project scope and proposal requirements.
• Prepare clear, compelling, and professionally structured technical and commercial proposals tailored to client requirements.
• Research clients, project backgrounds, and technical scopes to develop project understanding and proposal narratives.
• Draft and maintain Statements of Qualifications (SOQs), project profiles, staff resumes, company credentials, and capability statements.
• Coordinate with teams to collect project information, technical inputs, and supporting documents.
• Manage proposal schedules, submission deadlines, document formatting, and quality checks.
• Track submitted proposals, maintain proposal databases, and coordinate follow-ups.
• Support business development through market research and identification of new project opportunities.
• Maintain accurate proposal records and prepare weekly progress reports.

Required Experience & Skills

• 6+ years of proven proposal-writing experience, preferably in an architectural, engineering consultancy, or construction company.
• Strong understanding of AEC industry terminology, design and construction processes, and project documentation.
• Demonstrated experience in RFP/RFQ responses, technical writing, proposal development, and bid submissions.
• Excellent English writing, editing, proofreading, and professional communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Microsoft Teams.
• Ability to independently manage multiple proposals while meeting strict deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail, research capabilities, and document presentation skills.
• Experience working with US-based clients or international projects will be an added advantage.
