Proposal & Pre-Sales Specialist - Telecom

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Proposal & Pre-Sales Specialist to support business growth across the Utilities, Telecom, and Infrastructure markets. This role combines technical proposal development, RFx coordination, sales intelligence, and customer-facing content development.

The ideal candidate will translate customer requirements and complex technical information into compelling, compliant, and commercially aligned proposals, presentations, and solution narratives. The role will work closely with Business Development, Sales, Engineering, Operations, and other subject matter experts (SMEs) to support opportunities from initial research and requirement analysis through proposal submission and post-submission follow-up.

Mandatory Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelors degree in Engineering, Technology, Business, or a related discipline.
• 5 - 6 years of experience in proposal development, pre-sales, bid management, technical sales support, or business development support.
• Working knowledge of telecom engineering and infrastructure services, with specific exposure to fiber/OSP engineering, fiber network design, FTTH/FTTx, wireless/FWA, network planning, GIS, or related telecom infrastructure services.*
• Understanding of fiber network architecture and OSP engineering workflows, including route planning, fiber design, network documentation, and engineering deliverables.*
• Knowledge of LiDAR, field surveys, GIS, fiber inventory, OSP documentation, or related network data workflows is an added advantage. *
• Experience supporting telecom RFP/RFI/RFQ responses, including technical proposal development, compliance matrices, solution narratives, technical documentation, and customer presentations.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to account and market research, lead generation, opportunity qualification, capture planning, pre-sales engineering, estimating, or commercial solution development.
• Familiarity with Loopio or similar proposal platforms, Salesforce or other CRM and sales intelligence tools, and Shipley or similar proposal methodologies.
• Experience supporting global teams, particularly U.S.-based customers, with flexibility to work extended hours as required.
