About this role
Responsibilities:
- Prepare technical and commercial proposals, BOMs, RFQs, and cost estimates for BIW automation/robotics projects.
- Review RFQs, layouts, specifications, and project requirements.
- Coordinate with Controls, Mechanical, Robotics, Purchase, and Project teams.
- Compare supplier quotations and prepare costing sheets.
- Support customer/vendor meetings and proposal clarifications.
Requirements:
- Experience: 3-4 years in automotive automation/BIW projects.
- Qualification: BE/B. Tech/Diploma (Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Mechatronics, Automation).
- Skills: BIW automation, robotic welding, fixtures, material handling systems, basic PLC, HMI, robots, sensors, drives, electrical panels, BOM preparation, project costing, MS Excel/MS Office.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD/EPLAN (preferred).
- Experience with ABB/Siemens/Allen-Bradley automation (preferred).
