Proposal & Design Engineer

Role & responsibilities

• Design complete BESS system architecture, including EMSPCS–BMS interaction, electrical power-flow understanding, and integration workflows for utility-scale projects.
• Work on Battery Management System (BMS) architecture and signal mapping, including battery monitoring parameters, alarms, protections, and interface definitions.
• Perform MATLAB-based verification of control logic and operational sequences to ensure correctness and alignment with EMS functional requirements across multiple use cases.
• Work on SCADA/cloud data mapping, system monitoring requirements, HMI signal definitions, and early-stage plant-level engineering documentation.
• Execute full signal mapping of the entire BESS control scheme covering alarms, statuses, measurements, and control points for EMS and SCADA integration.
• Perform comparative EMS feature benchmarking and workflow validation, utilizing Modbus simulators to verify communication logic and support finalization of EMS control functionalities.

Preferred candidate profile

Experience in BESS, Solar, EPC, Power Electronics, Renewable Energy, or Electrical Projects will be preferred.
