About this role
The Property Tax Search team performs detailed research and verification of U.S. property-tax information supporting mortgage and financial-service operations. - Key Responsibilities Perform property-tax searches across U.S. jurisdictions
Research county, city, township, municipality, school district and other applicable taxing-authority records
Identify and validate properties using address, owner name, parcel/APN and other available identifiers
Research current and historical property-tax information
Verify tax year, tax period, amounts, installments and due dates
Determine available paid, unpaid and delinquency status information
Research outstanding balances and other required tax information
Review property and tax records for discrepancies
Perform research through approved web, email, telephone or other channels where required
Document research sources and findings accurately
Update client systems according to process requirements
Identify exceptions and escalate incomplete or conflicting information
Meet defined accuracy, quality, productivity and turnaround-time standards Preferred Skills Strong internet research, numerical accuracy, analytical ability, attention to detail and good written and verbal communication. Experience in U.S. Property Tax, Tax Search, Mortgage Servicing, Escrow, Title, Property Research, Mortgage Back-office or Research QC will be an advantage. Freshers with strong research and computer skills are welcome - process training will be provided.
