Property Accountant

Roles and Responsibilities :

• Manage financial transactions related to real estate properties, including sales, purchases, leases, and financing.
• Prepare and review general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with US accounting standards.
• Conduct month-end closing activities, such as preparing journal entries and reconciliations.
• Utilize Yardi, MRI, JDE, Oracle, and SAP systems to manage property accounting data.
• Analyze financial reports to identify trends and areas for improvement in property investments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of property accounting operations.

Job Requirements :

• Experience in US real estate and property accounting is preferred.
• Knowledge of US accounting principles and practices is desirable.
• Familiarity with general ledger management, month-end closing, and financial reporting is beneficial.
• Proficiency in using software applications such as Yardi, MRI, JDE, Oracle, and SAP is advantageous.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail are necessary.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines is essential.
