Propeller Repair Technician / Apprentice

Position and remuneration: As per Industry and experience

3years Diploma / Bachelor s or Master s from an accredited college. Preference to AME/

Aviation Engg segment and DGCA approved courses/modules

Minimum DGCA approved Professional Qualifications:

Passed Module 03(Electrical Fundamentals)

Passed Module 04(Electronics Fundamentals)

Passed Module 05(Digital Techniques)

Passed Module 06(Material And Hardware)

Passed Module 07(Maintenance Practice)

Passed Module 08(Aerodynamics)

Passed Module 09(Hunan Factor)

Passed Module 10(Aviation Legislation)

Passed Module 17(Propeller)

Ability to analyze problems and strategize for better solutions

Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently

Accurate and precise attention to detail

Organized and able to effectively evaluate and prioritize workload

Team player - ability to work well with management and staff at all levels

Major Areas of Responsibilities and not limited to:

1. Perform Propeller systems maintenance inclusive of repairs, modification installation and preventative maintenance.

o Disassemble and tear down propeller blade parts and assemblies o Set up and use manual machining equipment, hand tools, measuring equipment, hydraulic presses

and plastic media blast equipment

o Perform light maintenance of equipment as needed o Operate and perform Shotpeen, grit blasting, and various types of lathes and grinders o Metalworking operations such as grinding, drilling, polishing and paint remover o Read and interpret safety and equipment manuals and technical documentation

2. Provide technical instruction and assistance to the customer within the parameters of formal

3. Maintain knowledge of applicable product line.

4. Train and oversee less experienced team members.

5. Perform administrative and other functions; such as writing technical reports, receiving and

dispatching jobs, ordering materials and consumables.

6. Develop and maintain knowledge of, and adhere to, the Site Quality, Safety Management and

Environment, Health & Safety policies and other compliance requirements

7. Provide customer insight / intelligence as necessary

8. Utilize provided tools to track and maintain customer queries to closure.

9. Other duties as and when required.
