Roles and Responsibilities

• To complete the proof-reading, checking & other work related to manuscript and proofs.
  Completing the task assigned, following the given guidelines within given timeline
• Minimize typographical errors
• Thoroughly checking the style and maintaining uniformity in layout of pages as well as book
• Evaluate the dimension of page elements such as images, text spacing and positioning to ensure they confirm to set specification.
• Coordinating with proof-reading team and editors and clarifying all queries
• Submitting daily reports to the manager
• Improve work efficiency
• Identifying all spelling mistakes, grammatical & punctuation errors and marking them clearly and properly on proofs
• Good command over respective subject
• Knowledge of all proof reading marks
