Prompt Engineer

As a Prompt Engineer, a typical day involves designing, creating, and refining prompts tailored for large language models to optimize their responses. Responsibilities:

• Design, create, and refine prompts for Large Language Models (LLMs).
• Employ techniques to guide and enhance model responses.
• Develop effective AI interactions through proficient programming and utilization of playgrounds.
• Expected to be an SME, collaborate, and manage the team to perform.
• Responsible for team decisions.
• Engage with multiple teams and contribute to key decisions.
• Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
• Lead the development and optimization of prompt strategies to improve AI model outputs.
• Facilitate knowledge sharing and mentoring within the team to enhance overall expertise.
• Coordinate cross-functional efforts to align prompt engineering objectives with broader project goals.

Requirements:

• Must-Have Skills: Proficiency in Prompt Engineering.
• Strong understanding of natural language processing concepts and techniques.
• Experience with programming languages commonly used in AI development, such as Python.
• Familiarity with AI model playgrounds and environments for prompt testing and iteration.
• Ability to analyze and interpret model responses to continuously improve prompt effectiveness.
• Skilled in designing prompts that balance creativity and precision to meet diverse application needs.

Additional Information:

• The candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in prompt engineering.
• A 15-year full-time education is required.
