5+ years of experience in project scheduling, project controls, planning, construction scheduling, or capital project execution environments.
Hands-on experience with scheduling tools such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Project (MS Project), Power BI, Excel (advanced reporting), and project controls systems is strongly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and manage integrated project schedules for refinery capital projects, ensuring alignment between engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and project execution activities.
- The Scheduler role is identified within the Construction Management and Project Controls organization supporting project execution.
- Perform schedule analysis, critical path evaluation, progress measurement, and forecasting activities to identify schedule risks, assess project impacts, and provide recommendations for recovery and mitigation plans.
- The Scheduler job family is characterized by strong Project Controls Scheduling responsibilities.
- Partners with project managers, engineers, construction managers, contractors, and project controls teams to collect schedule updates, validate progress, integrate project changes, and maintain schedule accuracy throughout the project lifecycle.
- Prepare schedule status reports, dashboards, look-ahead plans, and executive reporting packages that provide visibility into project milestones, critical activities, schedule performance, and potential execution risks.
- Support project controls governance and scheduling best practices by maintaining scheduling standards, improving reporting processes, and ensuring compliance with PMO project controls methodologies and procedures.
