Project Purchase -Senior Engineer

Role & responsibilities

1. Project Procurement Planning
Understand project requirements and prepare procurement plans for the South region
Align procurement activities with project schedules
Track order status and ensure timely material delivery
Proactively mitigate delays through continuous supplier follow-ups
2. Vendor Identification & Development
Identify, evaluate, and onboard vendors for project-specific materials and services
Develop new vendors to ensure competitive pricing and reliable supply
Conduct supplier capability assessments
3. Purchase Order Management
Ensure POs comply with technical specifications and commercial terms
Monitor order execution and supplier commitments
Track vendor performance including On-Time Delivery (OTD) and quality metrics
4. Cross-Functional Coordination
Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Stores, and Project teams
Resolve technical clarifications with vendors
Support project execution by addressing supply-related challenges
5. Reporting & Performance Tracking

• Experience in Manufacturing / Heavy Engineering preferred
