Project Procurement Manager

Job Summary:

To manage procurement activities for the power projects (Thermal / Nuclear), ensuring timely sourcing of materials, services, EPC packages in compliance with company policies and project timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Developing procurement strategies aligned with project schedules and budgets.
• Coordinate with engineering and project teams to understand purchase requirements.
• Identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers and contractors.
• Maintain vendor database and ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
• RFQs/RFPs, evaluate bids commercially, and negotiation.
• Issuance of purchase orders and contracts in compliance to legal and finance teams.
• Monitoring procurement costs and ensure adherence to budgetary limits.
• Support cost-saving initiatives and value engineering efforts.
• Ensure procurement activities comply with internal policies and statutory regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of procurement transactions and audit trails.
• Prepare periodic reports on procurement status, vendor performance, and risk assessments.

Skills Required:

• Strong negotiation and analytical skills
• Knowledge of SAP or other ERP systems
• Familiarity with procurement regulations and contract management
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Required Experience & Qualification:

• BE/B Tech (Civil/Mechanical/Electrical)
• 10 Years to 15 Years
