Project/Planning/Quality/Billing Engineer

OMinnovative LLP is looking for qualified and experienced Planning / Project Planning / Quality / Billing Engineers to manage project planning, progress monitoring, quality control, quantity estimation, and billing activities. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring the timely execution of construction activities in accordance with approved drawings, technical specifications, quality standards, and contractual requirements.

2. Educational Qualification

• Graduate Engineer: B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
• Diploma Engineer: Diploma in Civil Engineering.

3. Required Experience

• Graduate Engineer: Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
• Diploma Engineer: Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.

4. Key Responsibilities

A. Project Planning and Scheduling

• Prepare project schedules, work programmes, and activity-wise execution plans.
• Monitor planned versus actual project progress and identify delays.
• Coordinate with Project Managers and Site Engineers to ensure timely completion of activities.
• Track manpower, materials, equipment, and other project resources.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
• Assist in developing recovery plans for delayed activities.

B. Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA/QC)

• Ensure construction activities comply with approved drawings, technical specifications, and applicable quality standards.
• Conduct site inspections and coordinate material testing as required.
• Maintain quality inspection reports, test records, and quality documentation.
• Identify quality deviations and coordinate corrective and preventive actions.
• Ensure that construction work meets the specified project requirements.

C. Billing and Quantity Surveying

• Prepare and verify quantity calculations, measurement sheets, and billing documents.
• Prepare Running Account (RA) bills and final bills.
• Verify executed quantities against drawings, site measurements, and contractual provisions.
• Maintain measurement records and supporting documents.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, site teams, and the accounts department for bill verification and certification.
• Assist with quantity reconciliation and cost monitoring.

D. Documentation and Coordination

• Maintain project schedules, drawings, quality reports, measurement records, and billing documents.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, Site Engineers, contractors, consultants, and client representatives.
• Ensure timely submission of project reports and technical documentation.
• Support project reviews, inspections, and audits whenever required.

5. Required Skills

• Knowledge of civil engineering drawings and construction specifications.
• Understanding of project planning, scheduling, and progress monitoring.
• Knowledge of quality assurance and quality control procedures.
• Experience in quantity estimation, measurement, and billing.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and construction documentation.
• Knowledge of MS Project or Primavera P6 will be an advantage.
• Good communication, coordination, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

6. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

• Timely preparation and updating of project schedules.
• Accuracy of quantity calculations, measurement sheets, and bills.
• Compliance with project quality standards.
• Timely submission of progress reports and billing documents.
• Effective monitoring of project progress and identification of delays.
• Proper maintenance of project and technical documentation.

7. Employment Requirements
