Role Description The Project Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Vadodara, responsible for overseeing end-to-end execution of engineering and manufacturing projects. This role includes planning project scope and timelines, coordinating resources, and managing communication between internal teams, suppliers, and clients to ensure on-time delivery and adherence to quality standards. The Project Manager will monitor project progress, manage risks and issues, and implement corrective actions as needed to keep projects on schedule and within budget. Day-to-day activities involve reviewing technical documentation, tracking procurement and logistics, supervising inspection and expediting activities, and preparing regular status reports for stakeholders. The role also requires continuous process improvement, alignment with safety and compliance requirements, and fostering collaborative working relationships across global teams.
Qualifications
- Strong Project Management skills, including planning, execution, risk management, and stakeholder coordination.
- Experience with Expediting and working as an Expeditor to track orders, follow up with vendors, and ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.
- Knowledge of Inspection processes to verify product quality, compliance with specifications, and documentation requirements.
- Proficiency in Logistics Management, including coordination of shipping, customs, and site delivery scheduling.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, supply chain, business, or a related field; an advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP) are an advantage.
- Experience in industrial projects (oil and gas, chemicals, power, or similar sectors) and familiarity with manufacturing environments.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and a focus on meeting deadlines.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary and cross-cultural teams.
- Proficiency with project management tools and MS Office; experience with ERP systems is beneficial.
- Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement in project delivery.
