Project Manager

Roles and Responsibilities :

Project Delivery & Business Accountability

Lead the business workstream for digital projects, ensuring all tasks under business responsibility are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.

Act as the single point of accountability for business-related deliverables, coordinating with IT and other stakeholders to align priorities.

Monitor project progress, identify bottlenecks, and proactively escalate risks or delays to senior leadership.

Risk & Issue Management

Anticipate, assess, and mitigate risks that could impact project timelines, quality, or savings realization.

Develop and maintain a risk/issue log, ensuring transparency and timely resolution.

Collaborate with IT and business teams to implement corrective actions and contingency plans.

Savings Realization & Productivity Gains

Track and validate productivity gains from digital initiatives, ensuring savings are materialized and measurable.

Drive the transition of impacted employees to the Growth Hub (bench), aligning with workforce optimization strategies.

Work with GBS Strategic Planning & Resilience Team to quantify and report savings, providing clear evidence of ROI for digital projects.

Stakeholder & Change Management

Engage with business leaders, IT teams, and external vendors to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables.

Facilitate change management activities, including communication, training, and adoption strategies for new digital tools/processes.

Act as a bridge between business and IT, translating technical constraints into business impacts and vice versa.

Governance

Contribute to the development of GBS project governance frameworks, ensuring consistency across digital initiatives.

Support the prioritization of projects based on strategic value, feasibility, and savings potential.

Qualifications & Experience Required

5+ years of experience in project management, with a focus on digital transformation, IT-enabled business change, or GBS/Shared Services environments.

Proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget, with a strong emphasis on business accountability.

Experience in risk/issue management, including the ability to anticipate challenges and implement mitigation strategies.

Strong understanding of productivity metrics, cost savings realization, and workforce optimization (e.g., transitioning employees to bench/pool models).

Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid project management methodologies.

Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and align cross-functional teams.

Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., JIRA, MS Project, Smartsheet) and collaboration platforms (e.g., Microsoft Teams, Confluence).

Preferred

Experience in Global Business Services (GBS), Shared Services, or Outsourcing environments.

Knowledge of RPA and other AI tools used in business process automation.

Certification in PMP, PRINCE2, or Scrum Master is a plus.

Background in change management frameworks (e.g., Prosci, ADKAR).

Job Requirements :

• 8-12 years of experience in IT services & consulting industry as a Project Manager (PMP certified).
• Strong understanding of PMO principles and practices.
• Proven track record in managing complex projects from initiation to delivery.
