Project Manager

Role & responsibilities

• Develop detailed tooling project plans in Workfront, including milestones, resources and risk mitigation strategies.
• Manage the lifecycle of approximately 100 tools annually, ensuring delivery to cost, quality and timing targets.
• Coordinate with local and global toolmakers, engineering teams and affiliate plants across multiple time zones.
• Maintain project data accuracy in Workfront and prepare dashboards, KPIs and milestone reports for stakeholders.
• Support cost estimation, supplier evaluation and award recommendations for tooling packages.
• Organise FAT / SAT, qualification trials and handover of validated tools to production.Contribute to global tooling standards, lessons learned and process improvement

Preferred candidate profile

• Technical degree or equivalent qualification in an engineering discipline.
• 7+ years in tooling or project management within a manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with general manufacturing processes for metal stamping, die casting and injection moulding.
• Fluent use of project management software Workfront, MS Project or equivalent — and CAD tools.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to work effectively across time zones.
