Project Manager

Role & responsibilities

Looking for an experienced Project Manager to oversee the development and maintenance of high-performance applications, guiding and mentoring the team in technical expertise, customer service, and application support. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Java-based technologies, analysis, design, and estimation, with the ability to drive innovation and enhance application performance. They will work closely with client architects, support teams, and cross-department stakeholders to ensure smooth and efficient project delivery.

**Responsibilities**:

- Build and maintain high-quality applications, ensuring they meet performance, scalability, and reliability requirements
- Must have worked in Fix price projects
- Creation of Capacity plan, efforts tracking, maintain pyramid ratio and financials
- Handle Daily Standup meeting with team and ensure activity will go as per plan
- Mentor and build technical expertise within the development team
- Collaborate with client architects to review designs and provide input
- Conduct design and code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices and technical standards
- Participate in and contribute to cross-department discussions and initiatives
- Drive innovation within the teams, continuously exploring and integrating new technologies
- Enhance application performance through optimization and refactoring
- Provide estimates for design and development efforts and support project planning

- **Databases:** Oracle, PostgreSQL, MongoDB
- **DevOps & CI/CD Tools:** GitHub, Subversion, SonarQube, CheckMarx, Maven, Jenkins, TeamCity
- **Servers:** Tomcat, WebSphere
- **Cloud & Containerization:** AWS Services, Docker, Cloud Computing
- **Operating Systems:** Linux/Unix with shell scripting
- **AI/ML Assistance:** GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT
