Position: Technical Project Manager

Key Responsibilities

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in technical project/program management delivering enterprise software or infrastructure automation projects.
• Proven experience managing blended onsiteoffshore delivery teams.
• Experience delivering projects involving middleware, patch management, or IT operations automation.
• Working knowledge of AI/ML-enabled or agentic automation solutions, sufficient to coordinate with technical teams and communicate concepts to business stakeholders.
• Strong command of project management methodology (Agile/Scrum and/or hybrid Waterfall) with hands-on tool experience (e.g., Jira, MS Project, Azure DevOps).
• Excellent stakeholder management, executive communication, and client-facing skills in an enterprise consulting context.
• PMP, PgMP, or equivalent certification preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience with CSX or the rail/transportation industry.
• Familiarity with middleware platforms (e.g., MQ, application servers, integration platforms) and enterprise patch management tooling.
• Exposure to maturity-model-based automation rollouts (crawl/walk/run or comparable phased-autonomy frameworks).
• Experience managing consulting engagements that span both proposal/pre-sales artifacts and execution delivery.

Key Success Metrics

• On-time, in-scope delivery of each Crawl / Walk / Run phase per the agreed program plan.
• Zero unplanned production impact attributable to patching automation during rollout.
• CSX stakeholder satisfaction with delivery transparency, communication cadence, and issue resolution.
• Effective utilization and coordination of the onsiteoffshore team structure.
