Project Manager

Role & responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and manage multiple PEB (Pre-Engineered Building) projects simultaneously from order confirmation to final handover
• Create and maintain project timelines, tracking fabrication, dispatch, and site erection schedules for each project
• Follow up regularly with internal teams (design, production, fabrication, logistics) to ensure deadlines are met without delays
• Check and verify material quality (raw steel, coatings, fasteners, roofing sheets, etc.) before fabrication begins
• Inspect finishing quality of fabricated components after production, before dispatch to site
• Verify Test Certificates (TC) for raw materials and fabricated items against required specifications/standards
• Coordinate with site teams/erection contractors to track on-site progress and resolve execution issues
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients provide regular project updates, manage expectations, and address concerns proactively
• Resolve client disputes/complaints related to quality, delays, or design changes in a timely and professional manner
• Maintain proper documentation for each project (drawings, TCs, inspection reports, client correspondence)
• Coordinate between sales, design, production, and site execution teams to ensure smooth project flow
• Identify potential risks/delays in advance and escalate or resolve them proactively

Preferred candidate profile

• 1-5 years of experience in project management within PEB, steel structures, or construction/fabrication industry
• Strong technical understanding of PEB fabrication processes, material specifications, and quality standards
• Experience reading and verifying technical drawings, Test Certificates (TC), and quality inspection reports
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
• Strong client-facing skills comfortable handling client communication, negotiations, and dispute resolution
• Excellent coordination skills to work across design, production, and site execution teams
• B.E./B.Tech in Civil/Mechanical Engineering preferred; diploma holders with strong relevant experience also considered
• Willingness to travel to fabrication units and project sites as needed
• Proficiency in MS Excel/Project or similar scheduling tools
