Role overview
To lead and deliver complex projects, programs or operational portfolios, ensuring successful outcomes through effective planning, stakeholder management, governance, and performance tracking. The role acts as a subject matter expert, drives continuous improvement, contributes to business growth opportunities, and operates with a high level of autonomy while influencing stakeholders and managing risk.
- Lead complex projects/programs, ensuring delivery within scope, timeline, budget, and quality standards.
- Drive governance, delivery methodologies, and best practices.
- Plan and manage resources, timelines, dependencies, and multiple workstreams.
- Serve as the primary client and stakeholder contact, managing expectations and escalations.
- Identify, mitigate, and manage project risks and issues.
- Monitor budgets, KPIs, profitability, and delivery performance.
- Provide accurate reporting and ensure leadership alignment.
- Drive continuous improvement in processes, tools, and delivery models.
- Lead and develop delivery teams, ensuring performance and engagement.
- Manage resource allocation, utilization, productivity, and succession planning.
- Coach, mentor, and support team growth and career progression.
- Bachelor s degree in a relevant discipline (business/technology/engineering or similar).
- 5-8 years of project management experience, delivering complex projects end-to-end in a matrix environment.
- Experience with governance/reporting structures and stakeholder alignment.
- Knowledge of service line or previous experience in HRP, A&T or GEM (asset).
- PMP (or equivalent: PRINCE2 / PMI / equivalent advanced PM qualification).
- Practical experience using PM tooling (e.g., MS Project / Jira / Confluence).
- Proven leadership through others (managers/senior professionals), talent development and succession planning expectations at this band.
