Must have (Technical Skills)

• Strong understanding of the engineering product development lifecycle from concept to production.
• Good understanding of mechanical, electrical, electronics, and embedded systems.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, schematics, BOMs, specifications, and technical documentation.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes, product validation, and production ramp-up.
• Ability to identify technical risks, dependencies, and execution constraints across cross-functional teams.
• Strong project planning, scheduling, and resource management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and project management tools (MS Project, TeamGantt, or equivalent).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Effective use of Claude for project planning, documentation, reporting, risk analysis, and stakeholder communication.
• Preferred Technical Skills
• Familiarity with ERP/PLM systems and Engineering Change Management (ECN/ECO).
• Knowledge of DFM, DFA, DFMEA, PFMEA, validation, and NPI processes.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary product development projects involving mechanical, electronics, firmware, software, and manufacturing teams.
• Basic understanding of automation, APIs, and digital tools to improve project execution.
• Knowledge of structured problem-solving methodologies such as 8D, A3, 5 Why, Fishbone, and FMEA.

Role Summary

We're looking for a Project Manager to lead cross-functional engineering programs from concept to production. The role is responsible for planning, governance, prioritization, stakeholder alignment, resource management, and ensuring successful delivery of strategic business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead multiple engineering projects and programs simultaneously
• Define project plans, timelines, milestones, and resource requirements
• Ensure alignment across Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality, Procurement, and Business teams
• Drive project reviews, governance, and executive reporting
• Identify strategic risks, dependencies, and resource constraints, and drive timely resolution
• Prioritize workstreams to maximize business impact
• Mentor Project Engineers and establish project management best practices
• Drive continuous improvement through standardization, automation, and digital tools

Required Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or related)
• Strong understanding of engineering product development and manufacturing processes
• Proven experience leading cross-functional engineering projects
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, negotiation, and decision-making skills
• Strong planning, prioritization, and risk management capabilities

Preferred Skills

• MS Project, TeamGantt, or similar project management tools
• Familiarity with ERP/PLM systems
• Budget planning and resource management
• Process improvement and digital transformation initiatives

AI-Enabled Project Management

We use Claude to accelerate planning, reporting, documentation, meeting summaries, risk analysis, and project governance. Candidates should be comfortable leveraging AI to improve productivity while applying sound business and engineering judgment.
