Project Manager - Transmission Line & Substation Projects

Role & responsibilities:

Will be responsible for the overall project execution and construction activities of the transmission line or substation projects.

- Conceptual Planning of the project, estimation of Site Infrastructure, resource mobilization & monitoring its effective usage.

- Thorough in project coordination with multiple location based suppliers, service providers & internal resources for smooth project execution.

- Understanding of basic construction engineering principles/practices/Specifications of foundations & metal structure assemblies.

- Familiar with Quality aspects like Factory Acceptance tests & QA principles for bought-out items & towers/Conductors, Final acceptance criteria used by infrastructure clients.

- Thorough understanding of Specifications used for transmission line or substation parts/accessories.

- Preparation of budget, cash-flows and monitoring the expenses.

- Timely submission of monthly bills, labour bills, purchase bills. Also, responsible for preparation and certification of Final Bills and reconciliation of material.

- Preparation & follow up of critical timelines using MS projects or any other package for total project management.

- Interaction with clients technical staff on construction practices, specs & local construction standard.

Preferred candidate profile:

- Exceptional communications skills: written and verbal.

- Experience into Construction of Transmission or Substation projects is mandatory.
