Project Manager - Onsite To Bahrain

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in delivering Banking and Financial Services technology projects. The ideal candidate will have 8 to 10 years of experience managing end-to-end project delivery across the complete project lifecycle, from requirements gathering through production release and post-go-live support.

This role requires a hands-on delivery leader who can effectively coordinate Business, Business Analysis, Development, QA, and Release teams while ensuring timely, high-quality delivery. Candidates with experience in Digital Banking, Payments, Lending, Core Banking, Trade Finance, Cards, or Cash Management projects will be highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage end-to-end delivery of banking and financial services projects.
• Own project planning, execution, monitoring, deployment, and post-production support.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand strategic objectives and translate them into delivery plans.
• Work closely with Business Analysts to ensure requirement clarity, scope management, and successful change control.
• Coordinate with development teams to manage delivery schedules, technical dependencies, and project milestones.
• Partner with QA teams to ensure successful testing cycles, defect resolution, and quality assurance.
• Drive release planning and production deployment activities, including go-live readiness and risk mitigation.
• Track and manage project risks, issues, dependencies, and escalations.
• Provide regular project status updates, governance reporting, and executive-level communication.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, budget, and quality expectations.
• Promote Agile delivery best practices and continuous process improvement.

Required Skills & Experience

• 8 to 10 years of IT experience with significant experience in Project Management.
• Proven experience delivering Banking or Financial Services projects.
• Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Experience working in Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or Hybrid delivery models.
• Hands-on experience managing cross-functional teams including Business, BA, Development, QA, and Release Management.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience handling multiple project streams, dependencies, and critical timelines.
• Knowledge of project governance, risk management, and change management.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in Digital Banking, Payments, Core Banking, Lending, Trade Finance, Cards, or Treasury projects.
• Exposure to large-scale banking transformation programs.
• Understanding of banking regulatory and compliance requirements.
• PMP, Prince2, Scrum Master, or equivalent certifications.
• Experience working with Middle East banks or financial institutions.
