About this role
Position Summary
Manage and execute audio production andlocalization activities for multimedia projects within an account or customerdivision. Ensure timely delivery of high-quality audio assets in accordancewith project specifications, client requirements, and defined qualitystandards. Work closely with Project Managers, Multimedia teams, Linguists,Voice Talent, and other internal and external stakeholders to ensure smoothexecution of audio projects and support continuous improvement of audioproduction processes.
What You WillDo
Analyze and prepare audioassets for localization, recording, editing, mixing, mastering, and deliverybased on project and client requirements.
Execute audio localizationprojects, including narration, audio replacement, synchronization, mixing, andpost-production activities.
Review source and localizedaudio assets to identify technical, linguistic, synchronization, and qualityissues.
Ensure audio deliverables meetdefined technical specifications, quality standards, and client requirements.
Perform audio editing, noisereduction, cleanup, equalization, compression, mixing, and mastering asrequired.
Synchronize voice-over andlocalized audio with video, animation, eLearning content, and other multimediaassets.
Coordinate with ProjectManagers, Linguists, Voice Talent, recording studios, and other internal andexternal teams to ensure smooth project execution.
Support audio recordingsessions and coordinate with voice artists, directors, and external recordingvendors whenever required.
Perform audio quality assurancechecks and troubleshoot technical issues related to audio files, codecs, samplerates, bit depth, channels, loudness, synchronization, and file formats.
Ensure accurate file naming,version control, asset management, and delivery of final audio files accordingto project specifications.
Work within required audioproduction, localization, and project management tools and obtain knowledge ofnew tools as required.
Maintain project documentation,production records, and quality checklists in accordance with companystandards.
Identify opportunities forprocess improvements, automation, and optimization of audio productionworkflows in coordination with the SPM/GPM, Project Manager, and/or SolutionArchitect.
Communicate clearly andeffectively with internal teams, external vendors, and customers regardingtechnical requirements, issues, and deliverables.
Support troubleshooting andresolution of audio-related production issues, escalating complex issues whenrequired.
Ensure timely completion ofassigned tasks and adherence to project timelines, SLAs, and qualityrequirements.
Perform other tasks that arecrucial for projects to run properly according to instructions of the manager.
Directing and participating increation, development and localization of audio content.
Discrete and independentjudgement when analyzing project files.
To BeSuccessful You Will Have
College degree, diploma, certification, or equivalent experience inAudio Engineering, Sound Engineering, Multimedia, Media Production, or arelated field.
3+ years of professional experience in audio production,post-production, audio localization, or multimedia production, ideally within alocalization environment.
Strong knowledge of audio recording, editing, mixing, mastering, andpost-production workflows.
Hands-on experience with professional Digital Audio Workstations (DAWs)such as Adobe Audition, Pro Tools, Reaper, Audacity, or equivalent tools.
Good understanding of audio formats, codecs, sample rates, bit depth,mono/stereo/multichannel audio, loudness standards, and deliveryspecifications.
Experience with voice-over, dubbing, narration, audio synchronization,and localized audio production an added advantage.
Knowledge of audio quality standards and ability to identify andtroubleshoot technical audio issues.
Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, Premiere Pro, After Effects,Storyline, Captivate, or Lectora is an advantage.
Experience working with multimedia localization projects andunderstanding of localization workflows is an advantage.
Experience working with TTS (Text-to-Speech), AI voice technologies,voice cloning, or automated audio production workflows is an advantage.
Knowledge of scripting, automation, or tools such as FFmpeg, Python, orsimilar technologies is an advantage.
Strong attention to detail and ability to identify subtle audio quality,synchronization, and technical issues.
Effective communication skills with the ability to communicate clearlywith Project Managers, clients, vendors, voice talent, and internal teams.
Adaptability: Ability to learn new tools, technologies, workflows, andclient requirements and adapt to changing project scenarios.
Time Management: Ability to prioritize multiple audio projects anddeliverables, manage deadlines effectively, and work efficiently in afast-paced production environment.
Problem Solving: Ability to independently troubleshoot audio andproduction issues and identify appropriate solutions.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a globalmultimedia production environment.
