Role: Project Manager (PM) IT Applications / e-Governance

Required Technical Skill Set - Project management across the complete SDLC; RDBMS (SQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL); web/application technologies including J2EE, Advanced Java and Microservice architecture; stakeholder, risk, scope, schedule, resource and delivery management.

Desired Experience Range 10+ years of relevant post-qualification IT experience, including 7+ years in project management.

Desired Competencies (Technical/Behavioral Competency/Skills) Must-Have •

B.E./B.Tech./MCA or higher qualification in IT.

• 10+ years of relevant post-qualification experience in designing and developing IT applications.

• 7+ years of project management experience across design, development, testing, release and deployment stages of the SDLC.

• Experience managing projects using SQL/Oracle/PostgreSQL/MySQL and J2EE/Advanced Java/Microsoft .NET technologies.

• Strong planning, estimation, stakeholder communication, risk management and team leadership skills.

Good to Have

• Understanding of government processes, e-Governance programmes and IT automation initiatives.

• Recognized project management certification such as PMP, CAPM, PRINCE2 or Google Project Management.

• Experience engaging with government departments, implementation partners and senior stakeholders.

• Exposure to Agile, Waterfall or hybrid delivery methodologies. Keywords for

1 Own end-to-end project delivery across initiation, planning, design, development, testing, release, deployment and closure.

2 Prepare and maintain project plans, schedules, effort estimates, resource plans, budgets, milestones and status reports.

3 Manage scope, requirements, dependencies, risks, issues, quality and change requests to ensure timely delivery.

4 Coordinate cross-functional teams working on RDBMS and J2EE/Advanced Java/.NET-based applications, removing delivery impediments.

5 Engage with customers, government stakeholders, vendors and leadership; conduct governance reviews and communicate progress, decisions and escalations.

6 Ensure adherence to agreed SDLC processes, security, documentation, acceptance criteria, release readiness and production transition requirements.
