Project Manager (Home Automation)

Zakman Tech is looking for an experienced Project Manager to take ownership of premium residential technology projects from order confirmation through commissioning and handover.

Key Responsibilities

• Own projects from kickoff to final handover.
• Prepare project schedules, manpower plans and execution plans.
• Coordinate clients, architects, interior designers, contractors and vendors.
• Allocate engineers and technicians across projects.
• Track project progress, manpower hours, materials and timelines.
• Conduct regular site meetings and project reviews.
• Coordinate installation, programming, testing and commissioning.
• Drive snagging and ensure timely closure.
• Maintain project documentation and handover records.
• Manage client communication and resolve execution issues.
• Work closely with Sales, Pre-Sales, Purchase and Technical teams.
• Ensure projects are delivered within scope, budget, timeline and quality standards.

Requirements

• 5-10 years' experience in Home Automation, AV, ELV, MEP or premium residential projects.
• Proven experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong planning and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to manage technicians, engineers and subcontractors.
• Good understanding of automation, AV, networking and ELV systems.
• Strong communication and problem-solving ability.
• Comfortable working at premium residential sites across Mumbai.

Preferred: Experience with KNX, AV, lighting control, networking and integrated smart-home projects
