Project Manager - Finance (Adra, Cadency, Blackline)

Role Overview

This is a strategic transformation role with a strong focus on global stakeholder management, process standardisation and finance systems deployment. The job description below is written for a senior Project Manager leading both the global rollout of Adra Balancer and the end-to-end implementation of Adra Task Manager.
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the global deployment of Trintech Adra solutions across our Finance organisation. The role will be responsible for driving two critical initiatives:

1. Global rollout of Trintech Adra Balancer to more than 70 countries and entities, building on an already completed solution design and configuration.
2. End-to-end implementation of Trintech Adra Task Manager, including requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, user adoption and global deployment.

The Project Manager will work closely with Group Accounting, Finance Shared Service Centres, IT and external vendors to ensure successful delivery, user adoption and sustainable process improvements across the organisation.

Role & responsibilities

• Lead the global rollout of Trintech Adra Balancer across more than 70 countries and legal entities.
• Develop and execute rollout plans, deployment waves and country onboarding schedules.
• Coordinate country-specific deployment activities and manage stakeholder expectations.
• Ensure alignment of reconciliation processes with global accounting standards and internal policies.
• Drive user readiness through communication, training and change management activities.
• Monitor rollout progress, risks and dependencies, ensuring timely issue resolution.
• Track adoption and utilisation metrics and implement actions to increase user engagement.
• Coordinate post-go-live support and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Take ownership of ongoing user administration, including user maintenance, configuration and master data changes, as well as first-level user support for the Trintech Adra solution.

Adra Task Manager Implementation & Rollout

• Manage the complete project lifecycle for the implementation of Trintech Adra Task Manager.
• Gather and document business requirements from Finance stakeholders.
• Design and implement standardised financial close and task management processes.
• Configure the solution in collaboration with business users and Trintech consultants.
• Define governance, workflows, ownership structures and reporting requirements.
• Coordinate system testing, user acceptance testing and defect resolution.
• Develop and execute training and adoption plans for global users.
• Lead phased deployments and manage transition into operational support.

Project & Stakeholder Management

• Develop and maintain project plans, milestones, budgets and resource plans.
• Manage project governance, steering committee reporting and stakeholder communication.
• Identify and mitigate project risks, issues and dependencies.
• Coordinate internal and external project teams across multiple regions and time zones.
• Establish project KPIs and reporting dashboards to provide transparency on status and performance.
• Drive standardisation and best practices across finance processes globally.

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 5+ years of Project Management experience delivering enterprise software implementations.
• Proven experience managing global rollouts across multiple countries and stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of Finance and Accounting processes, particularly balance sheet reconciliations and financial close management.
• Experience managing system implementation projects through the full project lifecycle.
• Strong change management and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in English.
• Experience with Trintech Adra solutions (Balancer, Task Manager).
• Professional Project Management certification
• Experience with Finance Transformation or Record-to-Report programmes.
• Experience working within multinational organisations and shared service environments.
• Familiarity with ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics, SAP, Oracle or similar finance platforms.
