Project Manager Construction - Government Project

Role & responsibilities

• Lead, manage, and supervise construction activities for government infrastructure projects.
  
• Ensure adherence to government tender specifications, quality standards, and regulatory guidelines.
  
• Prepare and review project plans, schedules, budgets, and timelines.
  
• Coordinate with government departments, contractors, consultants, and vendors.
  
• Ensure timely execution and completion of projects within budget.
  
• Monitor site progress, conduct inspections, and resolve technical issues.
  
• Prepare DPRs, MIS reports, work progress documents, and compliance reports.
  
• Manage project risks, safety protocols, and statutory requirements.
  
• Ensure documentation as per government contract norm

Preferred candidate profile

• 10+ years of experience in civil/infrastructure construction.
  
• 3-5 years minimum experience in Government projects (PWD/CPWD, NPCIL,MES, BARC, EIL).
  
• Strong leadership and team-handling abilities.
  
• Excellent communication and government liaison skills.
  
• Candidates from Government Engineering Colleges (NITs/State Govt Colleges/Equivalent) will be preferred.
