Job Overview:

The Project Executive handles on-ground execution of projects post-tender award liaising with clients and government officials, visiting project sites, and ensuring execution complies with tender terms. Works closely with the Project Manager and Tender Executive for smooth handover.

Key Responsibilities

Post-Award Project Execution

• Take ownership of projects immediately upon award and handover from the Tender Executive and Project Manager.
• Plan execution timelines, resource deployment, and installation/rollout schedules as per the awarded contract.
• Ensure execution is carried out as per the technical specifications, SLAs, and scope defined in the tender.

Field & Site Coordination

• Visit project sites/locations to oversee installation, deployment, or service delivery.
• Coordinate with internal teams (technical, logistics, support) for smooth on-ground execution.
• Identify and resolve on-site issues or bottlenecks that may affect project timelines.

Client & Government Official Liaison

• Act as the primary field-level point of contact for client officials, department representatives, and end-users.
• Conduct in-person meetings, site inspections, and progress-review discussions with officials.
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with field and department officials to support smooth execution and future business.

Execution Compliance & Documentation

• Ensure execution complies with contractual obligations, tender terms, and statutory requirements.
• Maintain site visit reports, execution logs, and installation/delivery documentation.
• Coordinate collection of completion certificates, UAT sign-offs, and client acceptance documents.

Reporting & Escalation

• Provide regular execution status updates to the Project Manager and HOD.
• Flag delays, risks, or compliance gaps promptly for corrective action.
• Track project milestones against agreed timelines and support closure/invoicing formalities.

Coordination with Tender Executive & Project Manager

• Share on-ground client feedback and field insights that may support future bid strategy.
• Ensure a smooth handover at the point of award and maintain a feedback loop post-completion.

Skills & Qualifications

• 13 years of experience in project execution, field operations, or client-facing implementation roles (preferably Government/PSU projects).
• Willingness to travel extensively to project sites and field locations.
• Prior experience liaising with government/PSU officials is preferred.
