Project Engineer

We are looking for experienced and motivated Project Engineers to support engineering and project

delivery activities across multiple projects in Canada and Australia.

The successful candidate will work closely with project managers, engineering teams, contractors,

suppliers and other stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, within budget

and according to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and monitor day-to-day engineering and project activities.
• Support Project Managers in planning, execution and successful completion of projects.
• Review engineering drawings, specifications, technical documents and project requirements.
• Coordinate with Civil, Mechanical, Electrical and other engineering disciplines as required.
• Monitor project schedules, milestones, deliverables and overall progress.
• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, consultants, suppliers and internal teams.
• Assist with preparation of project plans, work schedules, progress reports and technical documentation.
• Monitor project costs, material requirements and resource utilisation.
• Identify project risks, technical issues and potential delays and assist in developing solutions.
• Ensure work is carried out in accordance with approved designs, specifications, codes and applicable standards.
• Participate in site inspections, meetings, technical discussions and project reviews where required.
• Assist with procurement of equipment, materials and engineering services.
• Review contractor and supplier submissions and coordinate technical clarifications.
• Monitor quality, safety and compliance requirements throughout project execution.
• Maintain accurate project records, reports and documentation.
• Coordinate testing, commissioning, handover and close-out activities where applicable.
• Communicate project updates to management and relevant stakeholders.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and identify opportunities to improve project efficiency.
