Project Engineer

Role & responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and execute projects as per approved drawings, specifications and project schedules.
• Manage day-to-day site/project activities and ensure smooth execution.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, vendors and internal departments.
• Monitor project progress, timelines, manpower and material requirements.
• Supervise installation and execution activities at project sites.
• Review drawings and coordinate with the Design/Engineering team for technical requirements.
• Ensure work is carried out as per approved drawings, quality standards and specifications.
• Identify and resolve site-related technical and execution issues.
• Prepare project progress reports, site reports and other required documentation.
• Coordinate material dispatch, receipt and installation at project sites.
• Monitor subcontractors and site manpower for productivity and work quality.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality and project requirements.
• Support project billing, measurements and completion documentation.
• Travel to project sites across India as required.

Required Skills

• Good knowledge of project execution and site management.
• Strong coordination and communication skills.
• Ability to read and understand engineering/architectural drawings.
• Knowledge of installation, fabrication and interior fit-out activities.
• Good understanding of project planning, scheduling and material management.
• Ability to handle multiple activities and meet project deadlines.
• Proficiency in MS Office and Excel.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD will be an added advantage.

Qualification

Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical, Civil, Electrical or related engineering discipline.
