Project Engineer

Job Summary

We are looking for a Project Engineer with 2 - 5 years of experience in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, or EPC projects. The role involves supporting project planning, engineering coordination, and execution across FEED and detailed engineering phases. The candidate will work closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams, vendors, and external stakeholders to ensure timely and compliant project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Support project coordination and engineering execution during FEED and detailed engineering phases.
• Coordinate with Mechanical, Piping, Civil/Structural, Electrical, and Instrumentation teams.
• Review and track engineering deliverables, vendor documents, and technical submissions.
• Participate in project review meetings, including P&ID, HAZOP, Model Reviews, and Design Reviews.
• Maintain project documentation, schedules, action trackers, and progress reports.
• Assist in preparing technical documents, including datasheets, specifications, and engineering reports.
• Support tendering activities, vendor evaluation, and technical bid analysis.
• Monitor project progress and identify potential risks, delays, and dependencies.
• Ensure engineering activities comply with applicable industry codes, standards, and client requirements.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to support timely completion of project deliverables.

Technical Skills

• Good understanding of Oil & Gas / Petrochemical engineering systems.
• Familiarity with P&IDs, GA drawings, and piping isometric drawings.
• Experience reviewing engineering deliverables and vendor documentation.
• Understanding of FEED and detailed engineering workflows.
• Awareness of applicable industry standards and codes such as API, ASME, ANSI, NFPA, IEC, ISA, and OSHA.
• Good project coordination, documentation, and communication skills.

Desired Candidate Profile

• B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, or Instrumentation Engineering.
• 2 5 years of relevant experience in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, or EPC projects.
• Exposure to FEED and detailed engineering phases is preferred.
• Experience in multidisciplinary engineering coordination will be an advantage.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to coordinate effectively with multiple teams and stakeholders.
