Project Engineer-HVAC

Role Summary

The Project Engineer HVAC owns HVAC engineering execution on site cooling equipment installation, ductwork, and piping — turning HVAC design into a system that performs when it's tested.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute and supervise HVAC works on site — chillers, CRAC/CRAH units, piping, and ductwork — against approved designs.
• Review HVAC drawings and shop drawings for accuracy and constructability.
• Coordinate with contractors and OEMs on HVAC installation sequencing and quality control.
• Support commissioning teams with pre-commissioning checks and issue resolution on cooling systems.
• Escalate design conflicts or site issues to the HVAC SME.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• 3 + years in HVAC site engineering, ideally on data center or mission-critical construction.
• Working knowledge of cooling system installation and testing practices.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.

Skills & Competencies

• Hands-on HVAC engineering judgment under live site conditions.
• Strong coordination with contractors and equipment OEMs.
• Detail-oriented on drawings, specs, and quality control.
