Job Description- Project Engineer Fire & Safety

The Project Engineer – Fire & Safety owns fire and life-safety system execution on site — detection, suppression, and safety infrastructure — making sure every build meets the fire and safety standards a data center can't compromise on.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute and supervise fire detection, suppression, and life-safety works on site against approved designs and codes.
• Review fire & safety drawings and shop drawings for code compliance and constructability.
• Coordinate with contractors and authorities having jurisdiction on inspections and approvals.
• Support commissioning teams with pre-commissioning checks on fire & safety systems.
• Maintain site safety compliance documentation and escalate non-conformance.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• 3+ years in fire & safety engineering, ideally on data center or mission-critical construction.
• Working knowledge of fire detection/suppression systems and local fire codes.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Fire Safety, Mechanical, or related).

Skills & Competencies

• Rigorous, compliance-first mindset — no shortcuts on life-safety systems.
• Strong coordination with regulatory authorities and contractors.
• Clear documentation and escalation discipline.
