Project Engineer 3

WETS Deposition group at Lam India Global Hardware Technology (LIGHT) is hiring a Lead Project Engineer. This individual will collaborate with engineers in India and Austria on product sustaining activities for WETS product lines.

As a Project Engineer at Lam, youre not merely managing projects - youre driving advancements integral to the design and development of Lams products. Leading cross-functional teams, youll steer the execution of engineering projects, leveraging your technical prowess and strategic insight to deliver enhanced products. Your focus on continuous improvement in the development lifecycle will be pivotal as you own project to optimize and enhance Lams offerings.

• You will be owning projects/initiatives to develop, optimize and implement product/process improvement solutions which will aid in design and development of Lam Products.
• These projects/initiatives would be driven as part of continuous improvement in Product development lifecycle.
• Collaborate with both internal and external cross functional teams for project deliverables and goals, document and report project progress and results, communicate milestones and deliverables to stakeholders.
• Accountable for delivering on time with quality as part of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), as well as consistent improvement in efficiency.

• Bachelor s degree in Mechanical Engineering with 7+ years of experience
• Experience in driving concurrent engineering projects based on DFX skills.
• Expertise in manufacturing processes and material selection.
• Experience in working collaboratively with Cross functional teams (Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply chain, Electrical/controls engineering and Product safety) to meet project deliverables.
• Experience in OEM Component selection (Mechanical parts).
• Demonstrations of Owning and driving team KPI s.
• Exposure to department engineering process flows & actions to meet the requirements
• Knowledge on 3D Modelling, Assembly and Detailing using Solid Edge, NX or any CAD software

• Knowledge on Semiconductor equipment and its Sub Systems.
• Excellent communication, both written and verbal, and technical presentation skills.
• Experience with SAP and Fiori applications.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Lam offers a variety of work location models based on the needs of each role. Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories - On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. On-site Flex you ll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. Virtual Flex you ll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
