Job Description PurposeThe functional consultant will work as a single point of contact between State Literacy Mission Authority (SLMA) team and the development team. The resource is expected to act as a key interface between government department and TCS team| ensuring accurate understanding of business requirements and facilitate timely delivery of solutions aligned with business objectives and quality standards.Experience8-10 years of experience with project management skills and project delivery| especially with government departments.Key attributesGood communication skillsAbility to interact with community stakeholders and government officialsExpertise in understanding technical requirements Problem-solving and observation skillsGood knowledge of Excel/Word/PPTWork location: Vijayawada| Andhra Pradesh (fluency in English and Telugu is a must) Essential Skills: Act as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for SLMA stakeholders| ensuring effective communication and relationship managementFacilitate regular status discussions and review meetings (daily/weekly) with SLMA and internal teamsCapture| analyze| and clearly communicate business requirements to offshore delivery teamsTrack project deliverables against defined timelines and SLAs| ensuring timely completionEnsure seamless alignment between onsite and offshore teams for smooth delivery executionMonitor progress across development| testing| and deployment phases| identifying and addressing delaysDevelop strong understanding of business workflows (schemes| modules| processes)Document and validate requirements with stakeholders to ensure accuracy and completenessConduct periodic field visits to gather ground-level insights| understand operational challenges| and incorporate real-time feedbackTechnical SkillsSQL (Basic querying| data validation| data checks)Data validation and reconciliationUnderstanding of data flows and system integrations
