Job Summary
We are looking for a technically skilled and proactive Production Coordinator to manage and coordinate furniture production activities, from interpreting technical drawings to the final finished product. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of carpentry, furniture materials, joinery, hardware, and finishing, along with the ability to coordinate effectively with factory teams, carpenters, vendors, and designers.
The candidate must be capable of independently managing production timelines, monitoring quality, resolving technical issues, and ensuring that products are manufactured according to approved drawings and specifications.
Key Responsibilities

• Read, interpret, and verify technical drawings, furniture details, dimensions, joinery, hardware, and finishes before production begins.
• Identify technical discrepancies and resolve drawing-related issues in coordination with the design and production teams.
• Possess sound knowledge of plywood, HDHMR, veneer, laminates, lipping, hardware, and other furniture materials and components.
• Coordinate daily production activities with factory teams, carpenters, vendors, and designers.
• Monitor production progress and ensure timely completion of assigned tasks and projects.
• Conduct quality checks at different stages of production, including fabrication, assembly, finishing, and rectification.
• Ensure strict adherence to approved drawings, material specifications, finishes, and samples.
• Coordinate dispatch planning, packaging, and delivery schedules to ensure timely and safe delivery.
• Identify production bottlenecks, delays, and quality issues proactively and implement practical solutions.
• Maintain production trackers, checklists, progress reports, and project timelines.
• Follow up regularly with all concerned stakeholders to ensure smooth workflow and timely execution.
• Take ownership of assigned projects and drive production activities independently with minimal supervision.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Practical experience in furniture manufacturing, carpentry, factory production, or interior fit-out execution.
• Strong understanding of technical drawings and furniture construction details.
• Knowledge of furniture materials, hardware, joinery, and finishing processes.
• Good communication, coordination, and follow-up skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet strict deadlines.
• A proactive, responsible, and ownership-driven approach to work.

Key Expectations
The ideal candidate should combine strong technical knowledge of carpentry and furniture production with effective communication and independent execution skills. They must be able to bridge the gap between drawings and actual manufacturing, ensuring quality, accuracy, and timely delivery.
Candidates with hands-on experience in furniture production and factory coordination will be preferred.
