Project Controller

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement risk management frameworks in line with ISO 31000 / utility standards.
• Lead risk identification workshops and maintain the RAID register.
• Assess risks using likelihood, impact, and exposure criteria.
• Develop risk mitigation, contingency, and recovery plans.
• Monitor risk triggers, emerging risks, and residual risk exposure.
• Facilitate risk reviews, governance meetings, and escalation forums.
• Assign and track risk owners, mitigation actions, and target dates.
• Develop risk dashboards, heat maps, and executive-level reporting.
• Analyse schedule, cost, resource, and delivery risks and their business impacts.
• Ensure compliance with risk management policies, standards, and governance requirements.
• Support scenario analysis, quantitative risk assessment, and forecasting.
• Drive proactive risk management culture across project teams and stakeholders.
• Capture lessons learned and support continuous improvement of risk processes.

Requirements:

• Skill required: IX Intelligent Capital Project Operations - Low Carbon Grid Capital Projects.
• Designation: Capital Projects Management Assoc. Mgr.
• Qualifications: BE.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or certification in Project Management / Risk Management / Cost Control (preferred).
• Project risk analysis and mitigation planning; cost estimation and variance analysis; scheduling and critical path analysis.
• Knowledge of regulatory frameworks (CEA, CERC, state utilities); data-driven reporting and analytics.
• Strong coordination and stakeholder management skills.
• Enough experience in power utility / EPC / transmission and distribution/generation projects.
• Strong exposure to project controls, risk assessment, and cost management systems.
• Hands-on experience in Primavera P6 MS Project, and Excel-based cost models.
